Most people who call about a trail already know roughly where they want it. What they do not have is a way to get from a line on a map to something you can actually walk, ride or drive.
That is the work: cutting the corridor, taking out what has to come out, shaping tread that sheds water instead of collecting it, and leaving a surface that holds up rather than rutting out the first wet spring.
We will walk the route with you before anything gets cut. Grade, drainage and where the trail crosses low ground matter more to how long it lasts than how it looks the day it is finished.
